Went out this weekend with the bbv crew. Unfortunately Owen couldn't make it but we did bring brads car. The car ran great save for one blown out wheel bearing which may or may not have been on its last leg anyhow.

Glad you guys had a good one. You know you can use The Bradmobile anytime you need an extra car. Brad told me in his last few days to take the car out into the desert and beat the shit out of it. So have at it and have some fun too. Glad to see Doyle finally got some larger tires for his Baja.............../

Hey everybody in the VW world. Just to let you know I'll have Brad's Oval at Wolfsburg West show May 2nd. This is one show that Brad loved because it is so close to the house and I guess I loved too! So I'll see you there if you make it..............

He is still here in our hearts. Just pulled the engine on his 53 to fix a clutch chatter. I'm sure he would have gave me hell about how I wasn't doing it right! Miss you brother.

Yes there was, I hope a bad clutch chatter. Checked all trans mounts and they seem good so to start I took the flywheel to Brothers machine shop for resurfacing. Tomorrow Ill pick it up and head for Wolfsburg. The guys at brothers said to stick with German parts for best performance. That's what I plan to do, all new German clutch parts including throw out bearing. I hope for perfection when we ( Steve and his helper, me ) are done. Ill also take any suggestions from Wolfsburg. I want Brad's oval to drive like it did when it was brand new 62 years ago.

If anybody can make it to afton canyon this weekend the 2nd of October, we will be there with the brad mobile as well as my car. We may have a rail coming out Saturday. It's about 40 miles north of Barstow. We will be arriving Friday morning the 2nd and departing on Sunday the 4th. Tent camping, beers and doing what Brad wanted... BEAT THE SH!T OUT OF THE BAJA!!!!!!
