I recently got a 66 Square--all original; it was running great. Would start right up on first crank every time--until today. Started fine in the morning; I drove it 15 minutes, went food shopping, and when I returned it would just turn over and turn over and wouldn't fire. I'm a total mechanical novice, but I'd appreciate any ideas as to the cause and possible solution to this problem. Thanks.

You need 3 things for an engine to run. Fuel-Ignition-Compression. One of these is missing.
Do you have fuel? do you have spark, and do you have compression.

Yeah, my first guess would be spark. Check to see if the distributor hopped up out of it hole a little (disengaging the drive dog), as I've had that happen a couple of times. Shocked

I've had the black power wire fall off the positive side (#15) of the coil before, might want to check that, too.
