Finally got a few free minutes to work on the 92 Cabriolet. Both power windows stopped working. When I push either switch, up or down, I hear a click from under the dash, but absolutely no movement from the windows. Just looking for what steps I can take to narrow it down. I have a Bentley and haven't found much in there for troubleshooting. Any advice is welcomed. _________________ There's not a pill you can take. There's not a class you can go to. Stupid is fo-evah. The "window module" on those cars is just a printed circuit board with a few relays attached (on the cab it's usually three), it sounds like one of the relays is bad. The relays are common to several other vw relays (like a horn relay) & can be scavenged from other cars. Before desoldering the relays, try cleaning the contacts with a nail file. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
