My current beam is a bug beam, which lowers the car considerably. A previous owner installed it after a poorly repaired front end collision, and now the bushings, etc. are worn out. I'd really like to have the stock ride, so I'm looking for an affordable (under $500, I'm a teacher) solution. Living in the Keys means shipping is costly, so any assistance is greatly appreciated. |

it may be easier/cheaper to buy an adjustable beam and/or "raise" spindles. i'd offer you my old thing beam, but it's very rusty.
someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure that the beam doesn't really have anything to do with ride height. things ride higher because of the front trailing arms. _________________ What I lack in brains, I make up for with good intentions. |

Things have the "lift" built into the Spindles...and the placement of the spindle on the ball joints...(both pointing down).. Height is 3" over a standard Bug setup. _________________ '74 Thing, "Our Thing"....
