OK . . . got your attention
Here is another five TN TOY NOMURA Oval VWs from the 1950s.
There were in bad shape with dents, rust, broken and had a junk yard status
They went thru the Restor-Version Shop for a new lease on life.
These five TN TOY NOMURA VWs represents 60 - 64 TOY NOMURA Oval VWs that have been brought back to life.
If you are interested in viewing the other Fifty Nine TOY NOMURA Oval VWs,

Yeah, I'd like to see a "build" thread on one of these.
By today's standards, I'm sure these are considered "unsafe", due to the sparks generated by the motor. _________________ Everything known to man has been written.

OK . . . so you want some photos
What do you think I am . . an AMC 20 screen movie theater
Well, I usually like to send several cars at a time though the Restor Version Shop at a time
In this case, there are five TN Oval VW, a Bandai VW Bus, A Marklin Oval VW, a railroad bridge and a TIPPCO 1930s era
Mercedes (made in the late 1940s - U.S.Zone).
I took the set of the nine items to a sandblaster about 3 years ago and finally got around to working on this project.
Unfortunately, I do not have photos of when these items were hulks and in need of repair.
There is a photo shot of the next five Toy Nomura hulks that are going through the shop soon to get an idea what I work with.
But I have some photos of the recent nine items going though the Restor-Version Shop.
Let me know if you like what you see

WoW! Fantastic work!
Looks like restoring these toys is only a half step easier than restoring a real one. _________________ Everything known to man has been written.

Really nice job. I was only half-joking when I asked about the 'before' pics, but glad that you had them to share. |
