Thanks. It'll eventually run og burners or Anodized fuchs and a 2276 EFI motor. More immediate plans are to get the front lowered and get it MOT'd so I can start driving it. |

My multi-colored monstrosity of a '74 Standard. It was my daily driver for over five years, but now it's in the garage, awaiting a body-off restoration. _________________ "Crow" 1974 Standard Beetle |

I'm normally an earlier bug guy, but I just picked up a super clean original paint '69 sunroof. It was built in late '68, so I got lucky with it having black California plates. I'm putting chrome alloys on it and selling off the black/satin alloys, and I readjusted the passenger side rear to level it off. The engine is probably the best part, even though it's a fairly stock engine, but it's fun to drive, sounds good, has less than 500 miles on it, and will last. The engine is a single port 1641, counter weighted crank, chromoly lightened flywheel, cheater cam, CB lifters, CB I-beam rods, straight cut gears, deep sump, CB billet distributor, powder coated tin, restored German 30 pict carb, and ceramic coated exhaust. I'm going to make a few changes like putting the original bumpers back on and some other stuff. I definitely love this car!
