I bought a 1973 squareback, which probably wasn't a good idea, as I am not that mechanically inclined, unlike most of you. I am close to getting it up and running thanks to a good mechanic, but I am unable to get it complete due to front brake calipers. My mechanic told me that I was needing new calipers, so I started my search. I was able to locate some, but they have been lost using USPS, and they are unable to be found. So, I am back at square one, and don't know what to do. I can not find any more out there. What are my options. I am told that these are 3" mounting calipers. Don't they make a reproduction of these? I am desperately looking for a solution to my problem, and would appreciate any guidance you can offer. thanks.

Contact Jim Adney ([email protected]). He can rebuild your existing calipers for less money than a new set of replacements would be and they will be better than any of the re-pop stuff that is out there. Assuming of course that the calipers on the car or the original factor calipers.
