Thank you to all who have shared and have wished me luck. I never realized how many people my grandpa helped. I hope my grandma knows something. |

Russ gave away more knowledge and assistance to this community than any of us could ever fathom...
he built the engine in my Frankensquare, delivered the engine to my house and helped me install it...
I miss him on a regular basis - I hope you find the info you are looking for... _________________ póg mo thóin

Your grandpa was someone special, who touched many in his life.
This was him and I standing in front of the shop BSing, after getting the T-34 turned around.
And your grandma and I replicating the same shot 2 years later.
Here, Russ and I laughing about car being on the ground for the 1st time in 5 or 6 years, along with that "old" jack actually still doing it's job.

I never met him but his knowledge and willingness to teach and learn still came through the internet. His posts and online files are a treasure trove of VW knowledge and perspective. Weird to miss someone I never met but that's just the way it is. |

Here's my favorite picture of Russ. First time I got to meet him.
