Wanted to test out a few camp lights this weekend and beat the 100 degree valley temps. Headed out thursday at noon and the coast was PACKED! We found a nice little spot and did a combo scuba for crab/ chillax by a fire weekend.
The first one is a Multi color, fade, flash led light strip under awning that also has a white feature that works killer for prepping food late night. The second is a sd card/aux/usb speaker-disco ball that flashes to the music and really puts out the light. They are everywhere on fleabay under led disco speaker. The third is a lazer bliss light. Its like camping at Disneyland lol. Imagine tens of thousands of tiny lights sparkling everywhere. Just some fun lights that draws nearby campers over for some good food and conversation. Gotta love a vanagon!

Where did you end up camping? It's always hard to find last minute spots at the coast. _________________ 89 Westy 2.1 Auto |

Tyee campground, Federal. Pit toilets and only 15 spaces. Its small , but calm and close to Sutton lake for a gear rinse after diving the salt water.
There are several semi hidden areas south of Florence that tend to get forgotten about. |

I ordered a $24 16 foot 300 multi color kit with remote and stuck it under the awning case. You must clean the surface really well and I have found that a drop of loctite 401 or superglue on the ends works well. The rolls of led can be cut to length. Look for the 3 copper strips embeded about every 6 inches. Cut across the strip in the middle of the copper.
I stripped an old 12v device power cord and spliced it into the harness before the reciever, tossing the 110v converter box. They say they are a 12v light, but come as a 110v kit so I improvised |
