It looks a little different so I am not sure.

My wheel diameter is approx 17.5" / 44.5cm

Does this match?

not a barndoor wheel. the hub diameter is too small, the bakelite around the spokes is to thick and tapered too long, the rear ribs are not squarish enough and the dimples are bigger than og.

Agreed G. A few cars used to use very similar looking wheels to a Barndoor. I had one kicking around a few years ago that came off a fifties car. Slightly different diameter overall, and it was a sloppy fit on the steering column so would have needed an adaptor of some sort made up. Apart from that it did look the part ....... and for a fraction of the price. Guess all that's changed with the quality reproduction steering wheels out there now though.

no, the diameter of the horn button and hub is much smaller. second series Brezel (50+) and early ovals use similar horn buttons like Barndoors, but they have totally different 'Batwing' 2 spoke steering wheels.
