Hi, I have a set of Volksmags that I haven't run in a few years because the PO lost a few of the correct bolts, and instead of using flat bolts used acorn bolts, fucking the mating surface.
I was wondering if replacement bolts are available, or if there is any option to replace the missing bolts (studs and nuts?).
Can the wheels even be saved? Could I machine them down flat again? Or should I machine them so they accept an acorn bolt (would that be safe, or would it remove too much material). _________________ 1972 Super Beetle, Parked until adequate restoration funding is acquired in restoration!

I would machine them to use an acorn lugnut If your talking about the superior turtlebacks that's what I would due cheaper for you to repair that way and easier / cheaper to buy correct lugnuts rather than looking for the original ones. _________________ ** HELL YEAH I'LL SELL IT TO YOU**
