70's Vintage 1600 DP with a Engle 110 cam, Bugpack dual muffler exhaust and a Weber 32/26 DFEV Progressive 2bbl carb.

The problem is that it idles fine when first started. After it's driven a bit (<1 mile or so) the idle gets high and remains that way.

I have checked and the linkage seems to be returning all the way.

Sounds like the last carb tune up was done when the engine was cold, do it when its hot and turn back the idle
