I know its been a topic many times, but id like to post one for my specific vehicle. I have a '63 Beetle that id like to put Deep Dish Smoothies on. The car is lowered about 3" front and rear. Stock beam and stock fenders. My wonder is for the front can deep dishes be put on and fit under fender or will i have to stick with the stock 15x4?? Can the stock 15x4 be deep dished by changing the offset? Or would it need to be modified to be something like a 15x5 with deeper offset?? Id like to run 175/55r/15 on front and 195/55r/15 on rear with a 15x6 deep dish. Let me know what y'all think. Ive seen plenty of photos but still cant seem to grasp the idea of a deep dish up front if im lowered with a stock beam. The backs i think i understand, i just need someone to make them, but want to be sure i purchase something that will fit. Thanks. |

Get out your tape measure & start measuring. Measure to all areas & with the wheels turned left & right. Account for suspension travel too. Cars can be slightly different from each other & if you are looking to "max" out the wheels then you need to carefully measure. _________________ Mic
