Not sure what happened but 1/2 way home yesterday bus started sounding like it was in Beast mode.
Pulled over to find this on driver side exhaust.

Is this something that can be welded and clamped? Or time for new set up?
70 bay stock everything.

That piece is probably inside the muffler, and yes, it can (probably)be welded.

i didnt check that, I didnt think it would fit with the clamp on it. I will look when I get home. thanks.

If that one is good then I would fix it.

But someone has a good stock muffler on the market. Forgot who though.

I was thinking that if you are a welder then probably it is worth fixing. But if you have to pay someone to redo all the welds and crimps on it then it may be better to buy a new factory unit.

Bus Depot seems to have a pretty original one.
