This roof rack came off of a 1963 Beetle I purchased a long time ago. I see no maker's mark; can anybody help identify the manufacturer?
I believe it is made out of aluminum, since it's pretty lightweight.

Looks like an original VW of America brand to me.

Looks like a genuine VW accessory rack.
Also, a handy hint...... Aluminum doesn't rust.
That is galvanized steel.
