Anyone else guilty of this? Sometimes I may have one too many cocktails while surfing the classifieds late at night. Bought countless parts I didnt need. Mostly little stuff. Drinking sure can make you feel rich Only time i really felt bad was back in 2005 or so. I struck a deal on a vintage coke cooler only to pull my offer the next morning when I "wised" up. Felt pretty stupid as the seller was/is a really solid dude. Anyways, moral is drink and buy responsibly! |

Similar syndrome to drinking and dialing. At a certain point you have to put away the electronics and concentrate on the task at hand. _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

You got the pants too!?, and a watch?, all I got was sunglasses
I learned many years ago to never pull the trigger when impaired regardless of how good an idea it seems like at the moment, if I'm still hot for it in the morning then I can do the transaction professionally and make sure my shiny ass is covered as well. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

I purchased a NOS Cockpit-style VDO outside ambient temp gauge last night while inebriated on pain meds. No regrets this morning, although I'll be eating ramen 'til payday...

Back in my college days I won an Alpine 7220 cd player, Alpine 3de-7985 3 disc in dash CD changer, and a Nakamichi CD-500 all at the same time off ebay after one too many- back then about $800 worth of CD players-- still have them all _________________ I'm the humblest guy on this board.

Yeah, must really suck ........Bayern right in town, Big Sky just up the road, and Bitteroot right down the valley !
Only thing worse is the free beer coupons at the Lolo outpost when you buy "Sled gas" on your way up 12.

shit I dont drink so......why 4 I buy somuch stuff because I want or need it....witch are not always the same thing but when I get somethen in my head I try to see it through...almost . I build most of my tools and jigs, and do my machining so when I decide on something I start buying the tooling I cant make, like reamers, angle plates, parts, materials,I think i have enough to keep me busy for a few years.....then i started the trans building ....and more parts, more tools, amd more tools in the making and made. it's kinda like a womans "time of the month" it's a viscous cycle but at least hers will stop at some time in her life. |

You meant 'vicious circle'. But then I got to thinking about a 'viscous circle' and I got an image in my mind.
vis·cous (adj.) having a thick, sticky consistency between solid and liquid; having a high viscosity |

Is a vicious circle something like a group of badgers in the round? _________________ nothing |
