Tram, well I have paid him 3 grand and owe him 3 more grand. I wont pay him any more till the car is don. The car will not be painted seperat but all togethere and non of the underside of fenders and body will be painted. Door jams, dash, engen bay, and under hoods will be. The more I discus things with him the less he wants to do and the more money he wants to make. As far as I can tell the car hasn't been touched in 6 weeks or better. 😕 |

No. complete paint it would be 6 grand. I don't know how much he would want above the 3 grand I have given him already if I pulled it now. Hope that sorts out the confusion? |

Black or white fender beading? Mine has black. Your door/fender gap looks better than mine! Bring the leftover paint home with you for touchups later. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Mike, the fender beeding is black. I'm afraid to loosen the fenders for fear of messing up my gaps.😕 When they mixed my paint I asked for a spare quort just in case.😊 so ready to start building. |

Looking good Leo. I bet you can't wait to start putting it all back together.
Is the body shop going to do a "cut and buff" on it before you pick it up?
A little trick I learned when doing my wife's car, was to remove a couple of fender screws, then slip the beading in at your start point, then pull it tight, and shoot in a body screw thru the beading web and back in place. Remove a couple more screws, the insert and pull tight the beading and shoot another screw. It might seam like more work to do this, but it works better at holding the beading in place that cutting triangles in the beading web. It also helps you keep your body panel alignment, as you're not removiong all of the screws to install the beading. YMMV. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
