Here is this ad I found for some VW's I haven't called don't have the money, but I know one of you may be interested, so I am passing this along.


Here is ad as it reads.
1944 original WW II Kdf Beetle, original 1951 four door beetle convertable, restored 1960 Samba. Bruce 913-962-0088 KS.

Also here is an ad for a 51 Split...
VW: 1951, Very Solid, Runs Well, Garaged, Needs Restoration, Crotch Coolers, 7,900.00 386-441-9117 FL 603-659-7151 NH.

also a 55 for 500 firm in NY e-mail mykey72751&yahoo.com

That first add is Bruce Braun In Kansas, real nice cars top dollar, KDF last I read was 70K. The 4 door vert he has had been Dick Christiansen's and I think he paid in the mid 20K's for it when he bought it last year.

The KDF was up to like $250k at one point because he thought it was Goerings car. Not sure if it is back down or not.

The vert was $35k.

That's probably a stretch as well. The Luftwaffe's motor pool lists no VWs. Goering had a blue 540K. Wink

I got it out of one of those .99 cent auto magazines with classic cars for sale. Can find decent bugs in them from time time.
