Buyers Market?

Vanagon westy guy here that knows very little about modern VWs.
I have been wanting to get a nice diesel for years and this seems like the perfect time.
Can you guys point me to the real gems? Cars that might have already been undervalued?

I am looking for good mileage and reliability.
Performance not a worry.
Also has anyone been tracking prices?
Any movement yet?

I believe cars with the problem are not for sale by EPA decree at the moment, so there are FEWER cars for sale which can drive prices higher.

However, the dealers may not hit it hard since they are desperate for sales now.

But in the net, I wouldn't expect a drastic price reduction.

Thanks, I am not really looking for a new one but rather older models getting dumped by unhappy owners.
