I have been restoring MY 73 for 14 years and am a WWII nut so I am thinking about:
ROMMELN
After the German Desert Fox.
It can be interpreted as to persevere.

You do know he was executed by the losing side for being a traitor, right? Wink

It is my belief that Rommel committed suicide via a cyanide pill, at Herr Hitlers urging, to avoid being shot along with his whole family. By doing so the family survived.

Trying to decide if CMYTHNG is inappropriate... LOL

I'm going to hit up a couple antique stores and see if there are any YOM plates available. If not, then I'll go with some custom tag.

Kansas wants me to have 3 options in case one is taken I guess. You'd think that in this day and age, it could be pretty easily looked up in a database.

In NY you can look up if a plate is available on the DMV web site. I still have VW THING.

I had this plate for many years when I lived in San Diego. When I moved to Indiana, I was able to get THINGY as well.

Now I live in Florida, and plan to get a personalized plate that only has 5 letters. I haven't decided yet what to get.

See now you can't just stop at 1. Your plate specifically says " Minnesota THING Collector"
