Hi folks. Just to want to inform you about this
Last weekend, In Cincinnati at Mark Schlachters open house, a hebby owner Dan Arena from New york arrived with his hebmuller. As he owns it for about 20 years and not knowing the body nr , he got a nice present.
A certificate of identification was handed over by Axel Hebmüller who came all the way from Germany to be host of the meeting.
You can see the hand over on this site.
Or on the heb-hunters face book page.

It was not easy but after some research and with help of the Hebmuller family we could find the needed info on this car: Ex Peter Gelien from Germany witih Vin 1-111935 and delivered on 22/08/1949 to Baden Auto in Stuttgart .
So that is one Hebby owner ... _________________ Zelensis, glassfibre body made in Belgium , disigned and built on a VW platform About 25 body's built.

Though I cannot access the picture in the link without a login to that site, it is really cool helping an owner assemble the missing links of their car's history. Bravo! |
