Two for me. '64 bug is my daily and a '65 bug turbo fun car. Haven't had the 65 running in about 8 months, but am getting it track worthy as we speak and am planning on running at Irwindale next month for the Drag Day event.

'60 daily for me and creating a '64 ghia as well. Both will be on full rego but haven't worked out when I'll drive what car yet (maybe alternate days) Smile I find they are more reliable when driven regularly so I don't think I could get a third as much as I'd like one, plus it costs $800 a year just to rego them here so thats a bit of a deterrent.

You can get classic car rego which is much cheaper and allows you to drive for 90 days of the year so could be a option I guess if I wanted to expand the collection Very Happy

Read my signature. They are all being restored or need to be restored except my '69 which I bought just to have a driver. I was getting burned out by not having something to run around in.

I have a 58 bug which is fully restored and used when it's sunny which isn't often in the UK. I also have 1984 Golf (Rabbit) GTi convertible which is being restored and a Skoda Fabia as a daily.

Three. Wife has a 2014 Beetle. I have a 2013 JSW and a 1964 Beetle that I just got a month or so ago as a family project. I can see more in my future if we ever have a bigger garage....

This made me wonder if i was crazy..

Then i wondered how many of you all have more than one or two VW's.....and how often do you rotate driving them. And....should i get a third or am i crazy

If you have more than one...which do you have*??

During the 70s and well into the 80s Everett always kept at least half a dozen or more cars on hand, some fixers some stripped for parts, plus a mountain of engine parts. On a more personal note we had ten cars during the early 2000s
But we live in a semi rural setting and can do this without restriction. We are now down to six VWs with all but two being stored inside away from busy bodies prying eyes.

We have 55 bug,57 bug, 63 bug,67 bug, 74 bug and a 65 double cab and a mountain of engine parts. Crazy? Fck crazy as long as you are zoned correctly have all the cars you want.
