77 1600 cc motor, fuel injected. I got 12 to 13 volts at the coil but nothing coming out of the coil.

Is there anything else that would cause no spark issue?

I'm just making sure its the coil before I go order one.

Ground the minus (AKA #1) coil terminal for a second and see if that makes the coil send out a spark.
If still no spark, bad coil.
If it does spark, bad points or electronic module, or wiring to those.

I tried the grounding of the coil and it did not work. Going to look in to a coil tomorrow. If that don't work then i will loo in to the electronic ignition.
