I need the rubber for my bumper guards. Don't know if this is still available or if I have to scrounge and improvise. |

Check with the type 3 guys for a source.....largely the same part. Check with IsP West and Westcoast metric and Midamerica motorworks. Ray |

I recently sold all mine. 2 of these rear rubbers are about 1/4" longer than the others, but their mounting studs looked the same. I threw all 6 in the box, so the buyer can make up the best set after he gets them pounded out & rechromed!

Yep I have four I'm working with, and the rubber for one is about a quarter inch shorter. Perhaps two different manufacturers. The longer ones are the best quality. The rubber on the short one has cracks all the way up and down. The longer ones are in good condition except for the tops and bottoms which seem to have been abused, and torn. Bob |

Volkswagen changed the rear bumper in July 1970 (VIN 410 2100 000) from part number 415 707 303 to 311 707 303. The longer rubber stripe (411 707 401) belongs to the early bumper. The late stripe has partnumber 311 707 401.

Thanks Everett,
Sorry, I thought NFS is common. Unfortunately the rubber stripes are not for sale. Found them in the Internet for my cars.
