What bulbs are needed for the side marker lights on a 64 Notch. The lenses and retainers are there but no bulbs to reference. I'm thinking of switching the system to 12v but would like info for both 6 and 12 volt bulbs and where to get these. Stupid question but mine obviously aern't working and I haven't seen any that have, but they just come on with the signals correct? Thanks... |

I was thinking that they are the same as the dash light bulbs, but then I may be mistaken. I looked at my NOS socket and it might be bigger.
As for a source for about any bulb, try Newark Electronics. They have one of the best bulb selections and descriptions I have ever seen.

Nope they are bigger than the dash ones. 4wats but I cant think of another aplication for then to help in finding them. They were desighned to come on when the car is parked, keys out of the ignition. You push the turn signal arm down to the side facing the street. The light goes on and is meant to stay on through the night. It does just as its name implies, marks the side. Most people have had US versions of steering columes installed in there euro spec T3 so they loose the ability to do this. Most then just turn them into turn signals. _________________

I wish that they would set up a website again. I'll have to give them a call. I'll have to check to see when it gets power, as a turn signal or as a marker light.. |
