RE: Charging system - Alternator/regulator was tested by professional tech company and was OK. Charging light is still on while driving, until approximately 10 miles have been driven. Battery has been replaced. Why is charging light still on?

Check ALL the wiring, I have seen broken wires inside the insulation at the alt connector.

There are white plastic pin-connectors under the dash. The one the ignition starter goes through is a prime candidate for corrosion, they probably all need some contact spray and some attention.

Exciter circuit (blue wire) has a break in it and/or is not connected properly on the alternator (D+ post) and/or your battery cables are corroded/dirty/not properly connected.

Next time you start the car, blip the throttle to 2000+ rpm. Does the light go out?
