I am new to the forum and just started to restore a couple of 74 beetles . I have one with a good body but bad roof. I have another one with a rusted out body and a good roof with a metal sliding sun roof. I would like to cut the roofs off and put the roof with the sunroof on the car with the good body. WHAT is the best way to get a flat cut line and what is the best tool to use to get a flat cut.. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
Thanks |

The sunroof has water drains down the A pillars that you have to use, so should cut both cars at the Bottom of the A,B & C pillars? _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Make sure you weld in braces before you cut or your doors will never close right. |
