Removed the old ash tray, Polished it up with some chrome polish.
I'll be giving the rest of it a coat of paint.
Before/after
Also, my stock 66' 1300cc motor used only vacuum advance can as listed below:
Vacuum Can: 07 017
Timing Set At:: 7.5deg BTDC Static
Vacuum (Advance Only): 17-19deg @ 1.3 In. Hg, 24-28deg @ 3.2 In. Hg
Since I will be upgrading to a 1600SP engine, I purchased a NOS vac can that was originally used with a 1600SP engine for the proper advance.
Vacuum Can: 07 024
Timing Set At:: 0deg TDC Static
Vacuum (Advance Only): 17-19deg @ 1.3 In. Hg, 32-35deg @ 3.2 In. Hg

Since I'm using the CB 2280 cheater cam with this new 1600SP motor, I will be looking to set my static compression ratio to 8.2:1
Due to this cam the Dynamic compression will be slightly higher than stock. (stock is 7.5:1)
Based on the intake valve closing *, rod length, stroke, and bore of the engine.
Static compression ratio of 8.2:1.
Dynamic compression ratio is 7.68:1
Your dynamic cranking pressure is 150.76 PSI.
V/P (Volume to Pressure Index) is 26 _________________ (Owner) www.vintagecarleds.com

Dash cap looks NICE. Does it come with attaching screws on the underside?
You gonna have to drill some holes in that beauty for the handle. |
Yes, it does have screws, But I choose to have no grab handle. I didn't need/want one. _________________ (Owner) www.vintagecarleds.com

Well, I got some bad news.
I honestly don't have time with my 3 jobs, to restore this car.
Trying to get a accurate price of what its worth before selling it.
Car as you have seen (needs floor pans replaced)
It comes with:
Two new Denmark made entire floor pans.
No Engine.
100% rebuilt 12 volt swing axle transaxle with a 71'-72' gear ratio (for a 1600 engine)
New door hinge bushings.
Most of the interior is stripped out, but it comes with the original upholstered seats. _________________ (Owner) www.vintagecarleds.com

Hey man I've been there. If it doesn't sell keep it until you can get back on it. Do you have a place to store it?
On to the pricing, it's gonna be tough to get it what you have in it. A solid roller ghia with a new tranny and no motor needing the pans replaced. Man that's tough. I'll look back through the thread and tell what I think it'll bring in Texas.
On the other hand, I know I'm a long drive away but I'd be happy to store it for you in my shop. It would be safe and out of the way if you don't have a place. Or I might be able to take it off your hands. Like I said I'll look back through the thread and PM you a ball park of what I'd be willing to give for it. _________________ 63 ghia coupe |

Never mind. I saw your ad. That's right where I was going to suggest.
Good luck with the sale. _________________ 63 ghia coupe |
