The easiest way to do the front piece is to make it slip over the front hump. Thats how we make ours our of 1/8 plate that is cnc plasma cut.

BTW we do sell the front piece separate if you dont want to tackle it yourself.

I have one that the front hump slips over the nepolean hat area. I have not used it and decided not to use it because I could not come up with a good idea of how to seal it.

How do you seal yours that you make?

Silicone the area where it slips over, ours fit nice and tight, and then a body gasket on top.

I've been considering making something like 1" thick-wall body lift that I weld to the pan channel, not to effect a raise of the body, but to strengthen the pan / chassis / body and provide a place to weld connections for a roll bar or cage.

btw, this is just for a street Baja with occasional easy offroad use, not a serious offroad racer.

any ideas, experience, input or criticism?

Looks like you did a great job and got a good fit.

We sell the UpYerBug DIY Front Yoke kit which takes a lot of the work out of doing the front yoke.

They are available in 1", 2" or 3" if needed.

Dully noted, saved and will be buying a 1 inch and a 2 inch in the next 30 days. What a time saver for me.

Thanks!
