Just brought my next project home.

It has an extended front end with I think a 6 over Warrior beam. It looks like 3x3 arms in the rear. The roll cage is almost complete. It has a 6 rib trans with some sweet looking mounts. I got all new 930 cv's and axles too. It came with boxes on parts, all the glass and a cleans set of doors. Tires and rims are brand new. It has a one piece fiberglass front end.

First question, of many I'm sure, is the shock towers are at the headlight buckets on the fiberglass front end when I set it on the car. Any suggestions on how to address that?

Something looks rather wrong about that front beam in this photo.

The beam tubes are leaning WAY forward. Placing a straight edge vertically on the front faces of the beam tubes should be at 6-8° to the rear from vertical (that is...vertical as measured with the pan level measured with a level on the door sill). In the pic, that measurement appears to be about 20° forward. Which is nearly 30° off from whee it should be.

The beam is leaning forward. I still need to tie the top tube of the beam to the roll cage. When I fab these pipes up I'll get the beam back to where it should be. You can kind of tell there is just a tie-down strap holding it now. I guess when I get the beam in place the front end may fit better. Thanks for noticing that Richard.

Here's the motor for it.
Pretty fresh 1835. They said it could get the front tires of the rail it was on 3 feet off the ground. Very Happy

Get the balance point far enough back and that can be done with a Briggs & Stratton lawn mower engine.

I know it's been a while, still got the gray one.
Couldn't pass this one up.
Got this one with no motor and used the 1835 in it. Runs great. Had it at it's first car show this past Sunday, Caffeine and Octane in Atlanta, and Velocity Channel was there taping the VW's for a future show.
Also got a baja frame that was used in Arizona in some professional races with a Toyota motor in it. Major project because it is a bare frame with a baja body but I know I'll have some fun with the new one while I build that.

Here's the rear suspension.

These doors came with the baja body for the race frame.
