It doesn't matter if that 67 is a barn find or not with the front clip up to the windshield needing to be cut off it's still a parts car. For $3K you can find another that doesn't have that damage.

I dig the snake skin! Wish that had shown up here earlier. There are have been so many thoughtful critters of all species visiting there (low damage). Now that the seller has calmed and come to grips with what is really there, I'm sure the price will be properly adjusted. But keep the engine bay vittles- it's got barn cred now, even if that's sadly where the cred stops. Cool

Calmed down lol
Always been calm my fellow Vw enthusiasts.

Car is FAR from a parts car but nice one lol
It's headed to a very good metal/body guy on Friday who's going to repair damage and replace hood and hinges.
Price will stay firm at $3000.

I think its cute they listed the front end alignment as a plus, despite the accident (poor buggie Embarassed ). My question is, DOES IT COME WITH THAT HAT YES OR NO. The hat's a deal maker/breaker

I'm pretty sure that the front fender and hood dents are not going to "buff out".
Salvage title is a nice touch too for $1500.

Yup, it should be relegated to Craigslist. He says buffable and just a "minor accident-" I say prove it.

What I want to know is, RH Headlight or no RH Headlight? In one picture it's gone... That may be a deal breaker, if the hat isn't thrown in Laughing

It looks like the front seat covers are not installed all the way:

I see springs.

That's as far as they would stretch over the extra 2" of memory foam that help give it "that original look".

It's sad, a huge majority of the cars listed here are junk, overpriced, and completely misrepresented. I've been seeing a LOT of cars claiming low mileage, but the cars have the wrong engines, or something is off enough to tell you otherwise. I've also noticed this trend of people telling others their cars are worth way more than they really are. Since when is a car worth more just because you have some old paperwork? How is a car worth big money because they have paperwork backing up the mileage, yet the car looks like it's been through hell, has the wrong engine, they state they have the original engine, and in the same damn ad, they state the original engine was replaced because a shop changed the oil and somehow ruined the original engine and had to replace it? Are you friggen kidding me?

I'd begin with whoever priced this rusted out bug had clearly smoked too many bowls before hand...

WOW... I can't understand that price at all...

I don't understand this guy's thinking. If it doesn't sell for $1350:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vw-Bug-Ragtop-Clip-1958-To...&rt=nc

Relist it for $1600??

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vw-Bug-Ragtop-Clip-1958-To...7675.l2557

Twice??

Looks like original listing was for local pickup only. The second and third relisting show "free shipping or get it cheaper if local". So $250 to ship.
