I hate to ask, but I'm curious to know. I have an aftermarket type 3 exhaust that is 1 1/2" diameter and I'm pretty sure no one makes an aftermarket set of large diameter heater boxes for a type 3. Hence my question... Will 1 1/2" type 1 heater boxes work on a type 3?

Not without fab work... the Type 3 HE is much longer to reach the muffler with the fan housing between them.

I'm still working on making heater boxes with larger tubes. Maybe by next summer hopefuly.

Yeah, I think it's like 2 inches shorter than a t-3 HE. It's not just the pipe that needs to be lengthened, but the sheetmetal tin work as well. BTDT.
