Even if they were, how would you wire them? Question

I guess I just can't imagine where the wires would come out of the pillar and run. Away from bus at the moment....

Really, I wonder if it is up through the A-pillar along the roof line and down the B-pillar?

Probably the same routing as the dome light I'd imagine.

An interesting mod. I think someone here modded the front reflectors so they light up. That would be cool, too.

I've located and will be installing a pair of these on my double cab:

They are Hella, but made in India.

I even got some amber festoon LED bulbs to put in them.

Like the one in this photo, but perhaps a bit lower:

Should I go below the belt line, I wonder?

EDIT: I, wait, I can't go below the belt line on a double cab. It would interfere with the crew cab door... Rolling Eyes

The picture at the top indicates they were below the belt line.

I would put them high enough so they don't flash into the mirror.

Mine are on my '72. I just bought the base for the rear side lights and the front lens covers fit right in.

You had to drill three holes though?

Just one hole for the wires. The base screws in using the reflector base's holes.

For the pillar lights that I was talking about above, you're going to have to drill 3 holes: one in the center for the wiring, and two others that might best be tapped to mount the light.

I finally got a bunch of these, and have them in the classifieds if anyone is interested.
