You inspire me to pick up the pace on my 68 911 restoration. Curious-
how did you separate the oil tank halves without drilling? Is it leaded? And what is the screen made of ? like heavy window screen?
Keep up the posts!

George!
Thank you for your encouragement and your questions. The oil tank a lot of work, and may not be worth the expense, but I like to know what to prepare myself for sure is good. If you go to another state for better sight, and it is not certain to be flawless. Money and unnecessary annoyance ... I spend a lot of published several pictures of the oil tank is completely rebuilt. I hope useful to you.
Have a good day and a good job, let me see if I can successfully improve!
Zoltan

Wellcome!
New photos! Stuffed with small parts of the body with sealant to prevent subsequent corrosion. Not shown but it is quite important detail.
Happy New Year to everyone!

That's an incredible amount of work! It's amazing how good it looked before you started, yet all that rust was lurking underneath!
Do you know what color you will paint it? _________________ Mike B. |
