Just picked an 88 fox. The front left fender is damaged. Will similar year jetta fenders work? Also was wondering if any one had luck putting grilles from round headlight cars.

Quick answer is no, the Fox is a completely different chassis from the Golf/ Jetta platform, and part don't interchange.

Thanks for the reply. It seems the hunt for a fender just got a bit harder. I have read these wagons are junk but I love the look.

If you want to take a drive, I have some fenders you can have, $50 for a pair of good Fox wagon fenders, I think they fit 2 doors as well ??
We also have a complete '90 fox wagon for parts.....
Take Ski weekend road trip, you can strip parts off the wagon at my place, I'm 30 min. From Killington.
