Hey guys just wondering how you kill time while waiting for your parts that you ordered. I live in wisconsin so shipping takes some time. Im in the process of building a 2276 and all my parts are coming from Cali. Right now Im waiting for my orders to processed and then shipped. I keep checking my emails for any updates on the orders and its killing me. |

this is a good time to figure out just what you forgot and order it.and some other stuff you need/want. and get everything ready for when the stuff hits the doorstep. |

There is snow on the ground here so I got plenty of time before the car will be back on the road. Only thing I can do with out being outside is build the motor. |

I spend that time cleaning and detailing the parts that I already have. I wait for shipping a lot, which explains why my engine is so clean.... _________________ Learn how your vintage VW works. And why it doesn't!

Other than what's already been said, sitting in front of the computer just like you're doing now.
Spend a lot of time looking at everyone else's projects second guessing myself that I should have went bigger with everything. |

Well, I order what I need, the parts come in, and then sit around until I can find time to install them. I have enough stuff to keep me busy for a good while. So, I guess technically I'm not waiting on parts ... the parts are waiting on me.
I like to keep at least a couple of sets of most tuneup parts on the shelf. _________________ Brian

I do things around the house so I don't get dragged out of the barn when in the middle of things once the parts come _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

I'm a mainframe systems programmer and I still found time to put 4200 miles on my bike. _________________ Glenn

I don't think Glenn has pedals and a derailleur on this bike
I'm not in IT at all, and sometimes I find time to sit "check in on" The Samba.
