I found a working Motorola Big "M" radio, missing the face plate. Then I found a rechromed plate and was excited to put it in. Problem is, I found I would have to alter the radio opening a little bit in each lower corner, and oval out the holes a bit- my dash is mint, and hate to cut it- but it's the right radio, working and beautiful, correct for my '57. I admit that I think they're kinda ugly, and I prefer the '60-'61 radio w ivory knobs, but it's not quite right. So what do you think? I'm doing a pretty complete and anal retentive restoration, but not sure what to do- |

Do what the dealer would do: Break out the drill and saws! _________________ Shawn

Would trade or sell it to get a Blaupunkt radio of close to the correct era that has the black buttons/knobs. You could get on that is AM or AM,FM, or AM, FM, SW, or AM, FM, SW, LW, Etc... _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

Don't cut/modify your dash. Trade for something else as others have said.
There are a whole group of bus owners that wished the PO of their bus made the right choice. _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches |
