Is there such a thing as a lower section replacement panel, I do not need to replace the whole skin, just the lower section? Any advice you'll be appreciated?

I bought a door repair section for my 62 from Wagner Blechteile in Germany http://www.wagner-blechteile.de/produkte.html# He doesn't speak English so I sent him emails in mangled German using Google translate but it ended up working ok.

The profile of the corners is a little different to the original so it will need some rework. You are probably better off making up a template and finding an old school panel beater locally to make one up.

I agree with Mellow Yellow. I watched as a panelbeater made a lower section for the rear decklid of my car. It was better than the replacement section I had bought. A panelbeater with an English wheel can make the lower door panels to custom fit your car in a morning.
