Finished the full flow setup yesterday

Found correct AN swivel pieces mounted the bracket in its place and put the oil lines in place

Some photos which show the clearance

For those interested:

- Brother Machine shop welded full flow
- Aeroquip black AN size 8 fittings
- Braided oil lines
- My own lasercut bracket - fit inside the LHS bumper bracket
- Empi style oil filter mount
- Fram oil filter - big type

All on a late case with rear hanger - full exhaust and engine tin

Mounted as high as possible - almost level with the bottom of the engine case !

Hey, BerT3, I'm doing almost the same thing now! Same machining, and almost the same location for the filter. I'm mounting it to the engine hanger rather than the bumper bracket, and slanting it to tuck it up in that same area.

Today it's the 20th anniversary of owning this very same car for 20 years

I am 36 now

Other projects taking time are the resto of the Westfalia hearse and keeping my '90 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet on the road

I guess if I took just one day it will be finished

Soon Smile

A little OT here- Bertie- just wanted to bump this thread to say WE ARE WITH YOU and the Belgian people on this dark day! No political bullshit expressed or implied here, just a reaching out of hands and hearts.

Be well.

Shocked, sad, empathetic... what more can we do from afar to fight insanity and support those who suffer? Godspeed finding the perps, and somehow, comfort for the victim's family and friends.

Hello all,

Indeed in the neighborhood - we are a small country

Sad day for humanity as were all previous attacks all around the world in name of some kind of belief

Have some people training in my gym which have relatives being hurt at the airport

On the other hand that's what extreme cultural beliefs in a multicultural society can led to

I just worked on a TV report regarding our multicultural approach of the gym were I made 2 national champions

Both boys from Afghanistan - 1 had to fight another Afghan boy and the other a boy from Chechnya for the National title...

I wanted to pass on a positive note regarding multicultural backgrounds in the boxing circuit especially after the attacks in Paris were the mastermind was shown as a member of a boxing gym from Brussels

I recognized him immediately since we had been standing next to him at a recent National training

Anyway - sad day and thanks for your thoughts

Regards,

Bert

Hope you and yours and as well as your friends stay safe. It’s unfortunate as we’re all born a human being but conditioned to be something else. Be safe friend.

Hello All,

I am in here every day Smile

Just reading just minimal posting for years
I try to be as of the grid as possible.

Story so far for those who are in here since the beginning:

- Expanded the boxing gym - closed now due to Corona
- Became an AIBA certified boxing trainer
- Organised and still do organise the bigger boxing events in our country
- Sufferered slight brain damage just after New Year - that one round - one punch too many - I am fine now - the wheelchair was close
- Left the girl friend after 8 years in the recovering process
- Build a seperate dream garage due to getting out of the low emission zone
- Own a first year Audi TT
- A Karmann Golf MK1 Cabrio full spec
- A USA spec Audi 5000
- The fasty is still in the city - never driven

I recently bought me my first smartphone since all parking fees are only payable with an app in our city

Again, I am fine, as fine as I can be at getting 40
In here every day and still selling parts behind the scenes

Thank you for thinking about me !
Stay safe !

BerT3
