I love how at around 2:45 in the video, as your wife is hitting the fan, the camera pans back and shows your son smiling ear to ear. Unless that was his crying face?
Looks like a crazy time, and glad the VW pulled through!!!! |

Wow! Thanks for sharing! Nice focus, concentration and driving with all that going on around you! If my dh and/or kids were making noise like that during a stressful driving situation, I'd have told them to zip it. And, I wouldn't have used my nice mommy voice either!

Sitting on the couch on a quiet Friday night, TV randomly on NBC's "Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon" and all of the sudden Syncromike and his family and their escape from fire video is on TV.
I yell out, "That's syncromike!" as the video starts.
My wife looks at me like I'm crazy |

Mike you're a hero!!!
"We are too young to die"...
"This was a great purchase"...
very insightful quotes.
Love how the man stepped up with the help of his trusty machine in the midst of near despair, to save his family.
Thank you. This is what all dads live for. |

Keep calm and drive fast?
ON A VANAGON BOARD?
It is a wonderful story. There's one about a sudden flood in California. The 1940s engineer who put the air intake high on a Harvester tractor, so that it could run submerged--saved three lives.
Overbuilding has its points!

LOL, they filmed that like a year ago. We only filmed it after they agreed to show the kids in the segment, they're pretty stoked about it. All I can say is I'm on a diet now after seeing myself on TV.
Here's the segment:
