It's such a beautiful car and I don't want to be a Debbie downer, but why did this car sit under a tree for 30 years? Do you still have the original Tail lights? PS: Glad you two are still alive and kickin'.

Ya, what's the story?

While doing some Heb_vestigation at MetalKraft in Cincinnati, we came across this aluminum "Painters" plate which was screwed to the drivers side front quarter panel of Heb #428.

Any help identifying this plate or the body shop would be appreciated. It seems unusual that a body shop would permanently attach a metal plate to the side of a car they just repaired.

Does anybody have a similar plate?

This is a longshot, but are these the folks who sold two Ghias to Wayne Carini?

No. They never owned any Ghias.
