Hey !
I do not know if I'm in the good part for a presentation. Moderators can change the part if necessary.
I'm Ludo from France and I have an 1957 oval beetle since 3 months. I have imported the car from Portugal, she was restored there about 15 years but I intend to restore it in a few years (the painting is not of good quality). For now, I improve the car because it has not been driven for a long time.
Here are some photos :

Thanks. I would like know name of this color. I was told "ca" or "ca" but I do not think it's original color. The "ca" is only for the standard beetle? I will know it when I will received the Volkswagen birth certificate I hope polar silver color ! |

That's definitely not the original color. Looks like it was resprayed in Anthracite Grey. _________________ Formerly known in the forums as "OVALTEEN"

Hello Ludo, nice car !
You should post your question about the front lid here, some people may help you to understand if the lid is year correct or not. _________________ Fred

Oh je suis persuadé qu'il est d'origine finalement. Je me suis trop emballé avec cette histoire de capot arrière _________________ https://www.facebook.com/AltonPhotographie/ |

That car is beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing, color-wise. |

The red seats will not change, in addition they were of the same color when it came out of factory I will just change the carpets and the roof sky like as originally. The exterior paint will be like at its factory output (polar silver color). _________________ https://www.facebook.com/AltonPhotographie/ |
