Did you take that picture; because if the Beer Store in Forest Ontario has a 24 hour drive thru I might have to move? I have never seen that.
EDIT: Apparently it was a marketing photo and doesn't really exist. No 24hr beer here people _________________ 1979 Westfalia "FireFly" Subaru 2.2 with Subaru gears 5spd.

Samba photo gallery is for VW photos only. Use a photobucket account or something similar to host other photos. Or use a link to any photo available online through an image search. I get stuff off of Google image searches all the time. _________________ nothing |

Xevin, Notch, et.al.,
In honor of the one year anniversary of this thread, let`s turn it up a 'notch' (sorry, Jason, couldn`t resist that) Beer Floats! My favorite: Granville Island Chocolate Ale (somewhat hard to find outside of Vancouver BC), with a good vanilla bean vanilla ice cream---excellent!!! Let`s hear your favorite!

It's the one year anniversary of this silly thread. I started this to find out interesting beer from around the way. A guide to Bay bus travelers love of beer and where to find it. It morphed into an open bar. Which I think is even better. So cheers to you all that have contributed and all that have checked in. Love the international contributions and the shinanagins. It's been fun. I've even made some new friends who have brought me beer from afar because of their love of Beer and Bays. So I raise a glass and say Prost! Keep the photos coming.
These folks below have taught me a ton about ACVW. Huge thanks to them.
Precious cargo! With a Bay reflection. This was last week with some local ACVW fanatics. Beer and Bugs anyone?
My buddies up in Seattle 2 weeks ago, who let this Portland bus boy crash their Greater Seattle Bus Gathering a couple of years ago and keep inviting me.
And the Portland gang every Monday at Lucky Lab Brew Pub. A good bunch that took me in.

Just bumped my own thread. Had to add this to it. Lynn glad to see you still in action. Thought we lost you to Sail boat life. Take one of those beer floats when I see you next.
Today after grinding at work all day. I roll into the driveway to see a perculiar thing sitting on the bike rack
To my amazement someone dropped a six pack off, I've never seen before. To my embarrassment I've never seen or had this beer. Geez it's brewed in my back yard and I never knew about them. So cheers mystery person who dropped off a sweet 6 pack. I got you next. Just need to know who it is so I can return the favor.

Thanks Eric and his flatbed Well six months later all is well Thanks to Vince for the rebuild, line bored, new bearings, etc. last guy to "rebuild" it put the oil pressure relief valves in upside down Took me all week to get it together (getting old sucks!) Finally cleaned the bus after moving 2 months ago south a bit. Drinking: The Good Life, Descender IPA. 7% from Bend OR.
Glad to be adding to a years worth of beer drinking and bays here.

On our way to the mountains but first a quick stop at Hangar 24 in Redlands CA for lunch and a taste (and to fill our growler). the Betty IPA is pretty good.
