|
|
I posted several ads just now. On the last one, the first two photos were upside-down! I thought I was careless, but I checked, and they were correct in my computer. So, I deleted them and tried again with the same result. Ok I thought I'll turn them upside-down on my computer and the they will be right-side up in the ad---no luck! Suggestions? It only happened in the one ad and only the first two photos. _________________ Somewhere there is a jar with your name on it!

The site rotates any photos that have a rotation set inside the photo attributes.
This is typically just for phones and works correctly 99% of the time.
Some full digital cameras store rotational information now too so the same thing can happen.
I have had it happen a couple times with my full-size camera.
I open the photo in my image program and re-save it and the internal photo info gets removed so any rotation information is lost and it uploads fine.
Resizing it will often fix this issue too. _________________ How to Post Photos

I deactivated the ad, and posted it again, and all was fine. The rotational information is an interesting point! Ya learn something everyday! _________________ Somewhere there is a jar with your name on it!
