I just painted my Ghia for a second time with Omni MTK Acrylic Urethane 2 part single stage paint (4 coats). The first time I burned through when wet sanding with 1200 paper. After that I sanded everything with 500 grit and reshot the whole car. Every other part was glossy and no runs. Just this one spot has bubbles:

I noticed it after the second coat, it may have been there after the first.

The substrate is the previous paint job (2 months ago) not primer. Is this solvent pop? I still have 2 days to sand down and reshoot.

Just looking for the best way to proceed. Scrape with a razor? Wet sand with 1000? Thanks

Looks almost like drops from the tip. Poke them are they hard or bubble like? Could dig them out and apply paint with a good brush. We used to do that when I worked at a body shop. Used a pinstripe brush. Then cut and buff.

I lightly sanded the bubbles with 1200 wet, and immediately burned through

I have a little paint left so I will repaint this area. Hopefully it will blend in.

You could fill in the bubbles with glazing putty.if you can get some sealer i would spray that area with a coat before shooting the single stage. Let it flash then shoot the color on.
