Having read all the posts - gonna get some..... 1972 Standard
It appears he has a few types....this one?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TWO-UNITS-3-POINT-SEATBELT...338e2913c6

OR

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TWO-3-POINT-RETRACTABLE-SE...33921a641d
Kinda look the same. .75 difference - not sure what the diff is....

Anyone put these in the back seat as well? If not, what have you used for the back seat?
Thanks.

They seem to be the same thing. I bought from that guy, off of ebay. They work waay better than the stock non and rectractable type off of ole bugs, IMHO. Easy upgrade once you get that mount to finish it off.

Me three. One of the best upgrades I've done. I really wish someone was refurbing the 67 seatbelts, but until they do these guys work well.

Yes, they are retractable and no modifications were needed. The bolts and washers supplied fit perfectly.

I had to cut the tabs back (off with a hi-speed) to access the bolt holes to mount to my mount on my 1971 Super. And get a longer bolt to mount the part to my tunnel. other than that works good, Except if you are very rotund ie (over weight) it is a tight fit

But I got mine from Chuck's Convertible Parts, figured that since I have a convertible (1971) that I could "bitch" if they didn't work out http://www.chucksconvertibleparts.com/products/seatbelt-mounting-brackets

I just bought a 68 that has only scraps of remaining seatbelt. These Humvee belts seem to still be available, and they're still laughably cheap. Even with the mounting brackets, it's about 50 bucks for both front seats. Couple of questions… Is the only downside of these that the B pillar mount doesn't have a nice cover? Is any special hardware needed to mount them, maybe a better question is what should the mounting hardware look like? I have a combination of empty threaded holes, bolts with what look like all the washers and bolts that don't have anything with them.

Also, does anybody sell rear seat belts that are a good cosmetic match (non-retractable three point, retractable or nonretractable lap)? I wondered about using Humvees in the back as well, but it looks like the retractor mechanism would prevent the seat bottom from going in.

Thanks, Doug

I think I bought some extra 7/16" x 20 bolts for mine.
