Hi guys,

For those of you who are looking for this fabric, I may have a solution to reproduce it.

It will be a bit more expensive that the one propose by Marcus as the quantity is not the same.

But their is a potential solution for those of you who want to have that hard to find fabric.

Normally, when I 've done my seat covers with the NOS fabric you can see on this page, I used 3 lineare meters that are the equivalent of 4 square meters.

Don't hesitate to contact me for more informations.

Regards

Guillaume

4 square meters are required.
Also available the exact reproduction of the vinyl material.

Don't hesitate to ask me by PM if needed.

hi!

does anyone know how many square meters are needed for just the 2 front seats? (high-back later model 1977-1979 stock seats with the adjustable head-rest).
http://www.jbugs.com/store/graphics/00000001/1977-1979%20VW%20Beetle%20Stock%20Seat%20Style.jpg

should i get 4 meters? (4m x 1.6m)
the roll width that i am getting is 1.6meters.

thanks

Hello, I am not new to checking out the Samba, just my first time posting to the forum. I recently bought my first air cooled, a Nov. 61 L391 pastel blue Ragtop beetle. Been trying to buy it for 16 years! The woman that I bought it from was its second owner at 93 years old.

Just happened across this post. I am looking for original seat covers/material as well. I may have a supplier that could make the material. Will check with him.

Anyone know where I can buy the correct ice blue headliner material?

How about running board rubber in correct color?

Cheers
Jeremy

I'd like to revive this old thread.
Currently looking for fabric for my 1961 Turquoise. Did any one in this thread find the fabrtic / make it? I'd need to restore my seats to match. Any info would be much appreciated!
