Hey forum friends,

I found this in a box of parts I recently purchased and wondered what year it fits. Please let me know. Thanks.

That is an early 49 or earlier gas cap. Worth big $$ to someone with one of those cars.

That cap was also for 16000 cars beginning 1950. I had a march -50 with same cap.

This cap was made to work with mesh, so it's for 48 - June 49 (before was a different cap and no mesh). Looks that the mesh with this cap came back for some period in 50.
