| I have a 73 type 1 that i have stripped to bare metal. Before I was able to get a coat of prime on it I had to leave town for 4 days. when I came home there were several areas that had pinhead sized rust spots on it. They knocked off pretty easily with a da and a scotch brite wheel. Im pretty sure I got 99.9 % of it. I would like to have got it primed a bit quicker but I had no choice. Is there any product that i should wipe the car down with to neutralize any rust that i may have missed? any other sugestions? Trying to avoid any issues down the road. Im going to try and prime tomorrow....Steve |
