Hey I've got a 4x130 stud pattern with discs on the front on my 1967 and I would like some wheels that have a 5x130 stud pattern just wondering how far the wheel adapters will throw my wheels out as I'm lowered and any problems it may cause thanks

cant - the adapter from 4x130 to 5x205 was meant for drums. They will hit your caliper

you can get a whole new 5x205 kit, but they are not as cheap as adapters

Think I think you didn't see he wanted to go to 5x130... you can run adapters but that adds just over an inch on each side. depending on how low and wheel depth and tire, depends on if you can run them or not. You can get drums or rotors drilled with the 5x130 pattern for just a few bucks more than the adapters.

ahhh good catch

yes, a machine shop can redrill 4x130 into 5x130. Use press in studs. We have been doing it for years to put fuchs on bugs.

2.0 liter Fuchs off a 914 & the similar reproductions are one of the best fitting 4 lug wheels for a VW, especially if you ever lower it.
